Behavior Change Campaigns

Building Safer Habits for Every Ride

Motorcycle safety isn’t just about individual choices. It’s about what feels normal on the road and within the riding community.

Most riders already value skill, awareness, and control. That’s part of what makes riding meaningful. Behavior change campaigns build on that foundation by reinforcing what experienced riders already know: that the best rides come from good judgment, not unnecessary risk. They set the example for others to follow.

These campaigns focus on the moments that shape outcomes. Choosing to ride sober. Managing speed, especially in curves and changing conditions. Wearing gear that protects you and helps you stay alert. Continuing to build your skills over time. This is what defines a confident, capable rider.

At the same time, motorcycle safety depends on what drivers do. Campaign messaging reminds drivers to look twice, check blind spots, and give riders space. Many crashes happen not because of intent, but because a motorcycle wasn’t seen or its speed was misjudged. Changing that awareness is a key part of reducing risk.
